Who Is Tamberly Mott
Formerly a mental health clinician from the San Francisco Bay Area, working primarily for non-profit organizations, Tamberly has served marginalized groups, individuals, and families, helping hundreds of diverse clients of ages 3 to 80 years with her coaching, counseling, clinical therapy, and related educational efforts. She now provides online therapy through Betterhelp.com.
She attributes her success in psychotherapy to a thorough, honest knowledge of herself, her interest and ability to listen deeply to others, her connection to the natural world, and a profound desire to see people as uniquely individual human spiritual beings.
She believes in being curious and authentic while affirming that change is not only possible but an inevitable part of living. Avoiding the one-size-fits-all approach, Tamberly’s eclectic work has been influenced by humanistic, client-centered, and existential modalities.
In her practice, she also uses the integrative approach, ecotherapy, experiential therapy, systems/family therapy, neuropsychology, and transpersonal-holistic therapy (which incorporates spiritual beliefs, energy therapy, guided meditation, relaxation techniques, art, dream work, journaling, bibliotherapy, music and cinema therapy, and outdoor experiences).
